“Wie wir Traumata erben” #2

This time, we meet multimedia artist Talya Feldman. We watch her short film Elegy, a video-recorded performance of movement, a testament to the emotive ability of the body to communicate grief and power – and to carry the voices of victims of terror beyond geographic borders and the barriers of language.

Afterwards we start a talk with her and the Brazilian curator, artist and theorist Christiany Erler. We ask: can art be a tool for collective forms of healing? Can alternative and restorative narratives change the way we live together? What role do images and sounds play in this process?
